Rule Changes [01 Jan 2012|03:14pm] bohemiancachet Due to time constraints and in the interests of making activity checks as fair as possible we’re changing the current activity requirements of TM. To remain active you will need to complete three topics per quarter and activity checks will be conducted as per the below: Jan – Mar: Activity check Apr 1. Apr – Jun: Activity check Jul 1. July – Sept: Activity check Oct 1. Oct – Dec: Activity check Jan 1. Your topic will need to be posted to the community as well as your journal. Please include the topic number in the heading. Activity checks will occur on the first day after the quarter ends and members who have not completed a topic in this time will be removed. As three topics per three months is not an onerous requirement there will be no warning system or three strikes – if you have not posted you will be removed – but please let us know in advance if there are circumstances that will prevent you from the deadline. If you are removed for inactivity you can reapply but other applications will be considered first. Muses that are removed for inactivity will not be available for 2 weeks after the removal (in case the removal is an error on our part). But if applications are received in that period we will hold on to them and they will be accepted as soon as the fortnight is over – so if your muse is removed incorrectly please let us know ASAP so we can fix our error. I have followed all rules, and tried (several weeks apart) three times to contact the mod in question. I have heard nothing back at all, and would like to know what's going on. NOTICE TO MUSES IN BOOKS, MYTHOLOGY AND TELEVISION L-Z [30 May 2010|11:00pm] pjferret [ mood | busy ] I will be the first to admit that I haven't been the most attentive of moderators lately. It's been a very long time since I've done an audit of my fandoms, due to a mixture of RL work duties and other distractions. Rather than do one now, and have to send out warnings to what looks like 99% of my muses, I thought I'd post a warning here first. (Seriously guys, I just went through the last month and there were only three current muses. 3 out of more than 60 muses. THREE. Out of SIXTY!!! I know I'm the pot calling the kettle black here, but wow. This is going to be a bloodbath, if there isn't some serious prompt posting.) For all the muses in Books, Mythology and TV L-Z fandoms, I will be auditing those groups next weekend (June 5-6). And because the audit is so long overdue, I may have to do some cuts without warnings. It's just been too long. So here's what I'm going to do. Any muse I come across who hasn't posted a prompt reply in 2010 will be automatically removed. I figure anyone who hasn't had the time to do a prompt in the past 5 months has essentially abandoned the muse, and will be handled accordingly. For everyone else that's behind, as long as your most recent prompt was done this year, I will follow the usual warning system. If you have two warnings or fewer, you will get a warning to update before action is taken. Usually we operate on a 3 strikes and you're out - no warning - system, but since it's been so long since I audited, I'll make an exception this once and send warnings on the 3rd strike. But just this once. Consider this post as a pre-warning. If your muse is behind, use this coming week to catch up and avoid having that warning on your record. If there is a reason you won't be able to update in the next couple of weeks, email me with a hiatus request. (To be current, you must have answered at least one of prompts #334, 335, 336 or 337. And by next weekend, #338 will be up, so to be safe, you might as well keep to the later numbers, otherwise you'll just be behind in another week.) Also, I recently took over the Books fandom, so if anyone out there has been waiting to hear about a books muse, your email may have been lost in the shuffle, so feel free to send it again. Attn: TV A-K Fandoms [19 Jul 2009|10:04am] bohemiancachet I decided to follow Allison’s good example and give a shout out before I do my audit next weekend. I’ve even stolen her wording (sorry, Allison)! Due to EOFY and a move I have been rather lax in auditing my fandom (TV A-K). While starting an audit today, I noticed quite a lot of the muses under my watch are just as behind as I have been. So rather than do one big hack and slash and spend all day writing up warning emails and removing third strikes, I've decided to post up a warning here first. I will wait until next weekend to warn and remove the delinquent muses in my fandoms, so if you are one of mine, and haven't had a chance to answer a prompt in a while, now is the time. Consider this a free pass until Saturday (July 25). Make sure you've answered at least one of the last 4 prompts (289, 290, 291 or 292 by next Saturday) and you'll be fine. Any outstanding applications or emails will also be addressed by then – so please don’t resend these until Monday next week. I’m about to hit that correspondence today and you’ll definitely have a response by next Monday. Thank you!
